Columbia River Gorge & Statewide Wildfire Restoration Assistance
As a result of the Eagle Creek fire that began on September 2, 2017, which went on to burn nearly 49,000 acres of scenic Oregon land, Oreganic State® is contributing financial assistance towards the ongoing restoration effort.
With reforestation and the needed implementation of necessary infrastructure, the severe financial impact, currently assessed at over forty million dollars, will take considerable focus and community cohesiveness to effectively address.
In addition, Oreganic State® is also contributing to the recovery effort for the devastating Oregon wildfires which began late summer of 2020. The Mosier Creek Fire and 7 Mile Hill Fire being two additional Columbia River Gorge fires. Statewide financial assistance, addressing over one million burned acres of forest land and over 2,300 destroyed homes, will be made by way of the American Red Cross.
